Each participant will be asked to perform a set number of sun salutations (a set of yoga postures), and completion will raise money for Cancer Research UK and Liverpool Wellbeing Development Trust.
10% of sponsorship money will also go back to the schools who are involved, in the form of additional workshops and yoga equipment.
Our main objective is to promote the practice of yoga as an activity which is available to all. It is an activity which does not conflict with cultural or religious views, and can be practiced by any level of flexibility, experience, and age.
